Google Plus communities

The goal of this assignment is to familiarize you with Google Plus communities and Internet communities in general.

I have created a CIS 275 community for this semester.

Join the Community and turn notifications on.

Click on the small icon showing member's pictures (just below the logo in the upper left) and print out the list of member names -- highlight yours.

Play around for a while -- be sure you know how to post comments, search through past posts, etc.

Write a post introducing yourself to the community. Be sure to put it in the "Member introduction" category.

Print and turn in a screenshot showing your member introduction.

Find another community on a topic you are interested in and join that community.

The community you join will show up on your communities page. Print that to turn in along with a short statement as to why you chose that community.

Think about what ways we might use our class community. What might we use it for? Print your suggestions to turn in.
